Since brains are pretty complicated do you think it's more likely for the body to make a new head or for the head to make a new body? (I might have asked this before)

Usual warnings for body horror: Not gonna lie, the complexity of the brain is a good angle that I missed out on. My headcanon is to go with physical mass, if that makes sense? Whichever Regenerates the Meatsuit in the Shortest Time Possible. So for the helltalia nations, if it’s just their head missing, then the body regenerates it. But I guess your question definitely raises the possibility of how returning to life and healing can be a lot more disorientating and unpleasant depending on how they receive their fatal injury. I do have a rough idea that they often end up in a sort of limbo before they awake again, and the mechanics of returning to life and regaining all your senses must be quite an experience (regrowing all your neurons???). Their flesh and blood body is to an extent just a container and their souls are sustained by their people’s beliefs. But all the same they’re very much used to this physical body which is subject to a lot of the same sensations that we are: simultaneously inhuman and incredibly human.
