A fic in four sentences
“Aren’t sacrifices supposed to be virgins?” Loki asked. “Because that could pose a problem.”
He looked triumphant.
“The Thunder God is not particular,” the priest said.
Loki’s face fell.
What if Loki was pregnant, without knowing it, in the first movie? Maybe he was so hellbent in winning Midgard because Thannos had the child. What do you think would happen? I love your blog, btw, ♡
Ohhhh.
Thanos never really plans to give Loki the child back, win or lose, but he makes Loki think he will and Loki is desperate. He would probably break down after being defeated because he thinks Thanos will kill the baby now that he’s failed.
Thanos’s actual plan is to raise the child as another adopted daughter, so let’s add Gamora deciding she can’t let another little girl go through that torture and smuggling the baby to safety. Loki doesn’t know and Gamora is not that concerned about letting him know. She’s trying to cover her tracks and protect the child, not Loki.
Loki meanwhile keeps attempting to escape from the Avengers/Thor and finally he drops his illusions and lets Thor see him exactly as he is - the changes in him, his exhaustion and his fear. Thor only finds out about the child then and determines to rescue her and destroy Thanos, although Loki is near hysterical by then over his belief that the baby is dead. Thor won’t let himself believe such a thing. He wants Loki to stay in Asgard under Frigga’s care, but Loki refuses to stay behind and follows Thor to his confrontation with Thanos.
The Avengers kick Thanos’s ass before he ever gets his hands on the Infinity Gauntlet. Nebula reveals that Gamora has the baby hidden somewhere safe - because of course she knew, but she wasn’t about to say anything to Thanos. Nebula is able to contact Gamora and get her to return. Loki is reunited with his baby. Everything ends happily.
But Thor, It’s Hot Out!
Loki’s response when Thor told him he could not go out looking like he does.
He doesn’t understand what the problem is.
I know nothing about backgrounds or lighting. I just draw for fun. Enjoy.
Loki: *flirts with Thor*
Odin: Loki, what about your wife?
Loki: Whomst?
For the 5+ headcanons thing: AUTOMATON LOKI. i need more lil tidbits about them.
1. The dwarfs created Loki to be able to perform simple movements, mimicking how Aesir move .When they present their wonderful creation to Thor, they have Loki wound up so he will bow to the Prince which Loki does, but he also raises his head up and stares at Thor throughout which is not what he was supposed to do.
2. Thor is amused by the present, especially when he realizes that Loki is meant to be a doll, something to admire and show off to people, but not to touch. Why would anyone bring such a gift to Prince Thor? But he knows the dwarfs did it because people will come to see Prince Thor’s amazing moving doll and be so delighted by the dwarfs work that they will commission them. Once people have got enough of gawping at this invention, Loki will be forgotten.
3. Thor finds himself talking to Loki as if he were a real person. It is small things at first - complaining about how guests have asked to see Loki, or apologizing that he must bring Loki out once again to perform his tricks. It’s all joking at first, but Loki turns his head or offers his hand and looks at him in such a way that Thor begins to believe Loki really does understand him.
4. Once Loki begins to speak, there is a great faction of the court who believe he is a weapon sent to kill Thor and that he should be melted down before he can complete his mission. Thor refuses. Loki also refuses, but Thor’s word caries more weight since no-one but Thor views Loki as truly alive.
5. Loki is both proud and sad about being the only one of him in the whole universe. The dwarfs never are commissioned to make another. Sometimes, he thinks, it would be nice to have another person who understood what it was to be eternal magic inhabiting metal.
Gabriel going to a convention cosplaying Loki and trying to convince Sam to be his Thor.
OH GOD, BUT THIS FUCKING PROMPT, I READ IT AND I JUST WANTED TO TABLE FLIP MY LAPTOP BECAUSE JESUS FUCK I CANNOT YES THIS PROMPT LOUDLY ENOUGH. FUCKING HELL ROSE. WARN A PERSON.
Oh god, oh god, but I have SUCH a thing for Gabriel getting into Cosplay. Like, SO into cosplay.
So Gabriel just assumed that Sam would want to be his Thor, and so he goes about getting all of the materials for the Loki costume and watches hundreds of videos on youtube, learning how to sew (Sam has to kiss a few dozen needle-poked fingers), and creating the PERFECT Loki costume and sceptre. So he does that, and he even starts working on Sam’s costume, because he got bit by the bug, and now that he has been, he can’t STOP.
So he finds the perfect material to make the hammer and he’s so proud of himself and when Sam walks into his crafting room (IE, the part of the house they weren’t using, so it’s now his crafting room), and asks who his Thor is.
Gabriel just freezes in horror, because the convention is in TWO DAYS and he could have sworn that he asked Sam to go with him, to be his THOR, because it’s Sam, and he’s the only person in the world who would have made a better Thor than Hemmsworth himself. So he gives Sam his best, most innocent and hopeful smile. “Uh, you?”
Sam’s laugh and shake of his head was not encouraging. “Saaaaaaam!!!”
Gabriel has two days. Two days. He starts the most epic campaign of begging, pleading (with a good dose of bribery thrown in), and outright asking Sam to be his Thor at the convention over the weekend. Sam starts to buckle in the first twelve hours, protesting that he has schoolwork that he has to do.
(So does Gabriel, but college courses wait, especially for conventions.)
Gabriel does his absolute best to convince Sam, but he fails. Sam’s driving him to the convention and Gabriel is dressed in his full outfit, his helmet on his lap, and he knows that it’s not going to happen, but he can’t help it. He looks over at Sam as they stop in front of the convention center. “Please? Sam?”
Sam shakes his head and leans in and gives Gabriel a kiss, soft and gentle before urging him out of the car.
Gabriel is excited, (and he even has people ask to take his picture!!!) but Sam isn’t there with him to enjoy it. He enters into the registration line, feeling a smile start, despite everything. He’s going to have an amazing time, and if Sam wants to be an ass about this, well, he’s just going to miss out.
That’s when he hears a booming “LOKI! There you are!” and strong arms are wrapping around him in a hug. Gabriel knew that voice and he can’t keep the grin off his face when he turns around and sees Sam in his full Thor costume, hammer in hand and a sheepish grin on his face.
“I wanted to surprise you?” Sam offers.
Gabriel grins and reaches out to take ahold of Sam’s armor (that looks fantastic, if he does say so himself!) and pulls him in. “We’re about to make some Thorki shippers very happy.” he mumbles as he kisses Sam, and he can hear the camera phones going off in the background. It’s worth it. So worth it!

“We had not spoken in some time.” Thor’s words came to her as if through a filter of raincloud and rising wind. “He had been imprisoned for his crimes, and I off-world attending to matters that might have arisen from those actions.” He paused, and did not look to her. Instead he gazed away, and to a jury beyond mortal justice. “I regret that now.”
Wanda kept her silence. She could not regret time not spent with Pietro. She had always been with Pietro.
Grief comes to each of us in different ways. Some things, though: they stay always the same.
