How would Flambae react, when Waterboy get kidnapped? (At this point they are friends or something more)

And what would he do?

Oh that’s easy! The same as everyone else!

He loses his shit!

He is one of the more VOCAL people who are upset and angry, saying they need to find him and find him NOW. Heck he might be the MOST vocal person (Punch Up is close behind though, followed by Sonar). Everyone else is upset but a lot of the others know they have to be careful, even if they want to rip and tear and burn the place to the ground.

Flambae though REALLY has to contain himself or he’ll burn everything around him but it doesn’t stop him from spontaneously going up in flames, smoking, pacing, the works. He's so pissed he has to go outside.

When they find the place Waterboy is kidnapped at, EVERYONE goes. And Robert’s ONLY rule is “don’t kill them or do something that could kill them” cause he’s pissed too.

Waterboy is a bit beat up (healing from some rough injuries but it’s slower) and he’s handing upside down. There’s a guard supposed to be watching him and he’s like “S-So uh..a-any…any weekend p-pl-plans?”. The guard just glares at him. Then there’s notices coming from the hall and the guard arms himself and gets ready.

Theres shouts and panicked screams, a loud screech, and then nothing. Then, the heavy, windowless door starts glowing a little. Then it glows brighter and brighter until it starts melting. And there, is a VERY pissed off Flambae, eyes furious. The guard tries to shoot his weapon but Flambae is faster, shooting fire at the guy. The guy screams and writhes cause he’s on fire. Flambae just goes over to the guy and shoves him into one of Waterboy’s massive puddles saying “Didn’t they fucking teach you to stop, drop and roll dipshit?”

As the guy rolls around in the water to put himself out, Flambae reports that Waterboy’s been secured, not even listening to what Robert is telling him to do. He unhooks waterboy from where he’s hanging and Waterboy goes THUNK on the ground, saying “ooowwwww…”. Flambae doesn’t apologize and just gets to work removing the restraints.

And Waterboy laughs nervously saying he kinda didn’t think anyone was gonna find him but Flambae, pissed off, snaps that of COURSE they were gonna find him. He isn’t that fucking hard to find. He leaves a snail trail everywhere.

But Waterboy can see in Flambae’s eyes that there’s something else. He was concerned. He was WORRIED. He was worried for him. And that makes Waterboy happy.

So Flambae helps him up as other Z team members come In. Waterboy can only weekly wave at them and he says he’s glad to see them. Malevola opens a portal to get him to the infirmary sooner.

Later on, Prism and Flambae are waiting in the waiting room to visit, Flambae’s leg bouncing. And Prism says she’s glad that they fucked a few people up. They deserved it. Flambae huffs a small laugh and he says they deserve worse. Prism laughs and says that doesn’t sound very heroic to her but Flambae asks if she thinks otherwise. Prism is amused and she says “oh no, I agree with you. No one touches our boy.” and she pats him on the shoulder.

And Flambae hums, just waiting. “Yeah” is all he says.
