on some level i can understand because people have said it equates sex and gender. which i get. but people then are like if you want to do that make them trans and that just changes the characterization a hell of a lot simply because it involves a lot of stuff with identity. i personally don’t see the problem but i can’t speak for the community it offends you know ? because also no one was offended by it for years so…who knows

one of the argument i saw one time was just that, rather than switching them completely, just have them as a trans character and i ??? no . . . that would COMPLETELY change a lot of dynamics. 

and i just saw an anon who was like ( i’m paraphrasing a tad )  ‘ oh you have a male verse for when you want to write someone masculine and vice versa ‘

like no, i don’t write someone because ‘ today i want to write someone with a dick or a vagina ‘ so i write who i write because i want to write someone stubborn, or frail or loving.  i could tell you off the bat that renesmee and her male counterpart would have different traits.

having a rule 63 muse or verse is not hating anyone... especially not the trans community ????
