Improvement Pt. Giraffe Perspective

So the original picture has gotten some attention lately, and as an artist I'm obligated to feel a bit weirded when something that old gets so much notice. So I wanted to do a redraw. 2011 to 2024. I've certainly learned a thing or two. Probably.

The last time I filled out this meme was 2011, so figured it was time for an update  

I've been feeling really down about my art this year, feeling like there's been no improvement at all the last few years. However, seeing it laid out like this instead of hopelessly browsing through my gallery has really helped put things in perspective. It's nice to see it all laid out like this and has made me feel a little more confident and hopeful for the future. 

Next year I'm gonna practice humans I swear 😂

Took me a while to chose from them:   

2007- when I got my first good quality colored pencils

 2010- best year I had in drawing so far. That year I left the colorful style and started to use watercolors. 

2019- the mix era
