It's telling about the way I write that I've done every single one of these, several times over. I write so much inside my dorks' heads that I forget to describe what *room* they are in or what they're wearing.

Can't help it, close third person internal thoughts are so much fun.

I'm slowly corrupting more and more people I know to dive into the story of The Count Of Monte Cristo. Especially the 2024 miniseries starring Sam Claflin. It's so goddamn good. So full of insanely good acting performances. And it's surprisingly faithful to the book too, which isn't an easy feat with such a monster of a book.

I know it's not on DVD yet, at least in Europe, but if you have a chance to watch it, please go seek it out! (For Finnish people it can be watched for free in Yle Areena right now!). I have watched the miniseries 3 times by now. Send help.

I'm also now in the middle of the audiobook which is like 48 hours long lol.

I'm in deep. I love this story.

I was just musing about my own novel writing yesterday, and it's blatantly just a buffet table of my favourite story tropes.

Slow burn romance from 'I hate her guts' to 'why did I let her *leave*?' Check. TGTF to from human male to female anthro bunny? Check.

Culture that's largely indifferent/lacks the concept of nudity? Check.

Stubborn, rash, loud-mouthed, temperamental, sassy protagonists? Check. Happy ending through a very rocky road? Check.

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.

His concept initially started as just a femboy character, but that didn't click, until that evolved into "what if femboy, but mommy energy", but i wanted to be more loosey-goosey with their gender - and finally gender-fluid clicked and here she is!

But in fem moments they are still pretty mommy :3
