Reflourished au where impus becomes a mausoleum ghost (underground palace part 2 pvz2c) and only greedy can see him because of the pig he has (bc fun fact. The pig is a lot similar to the pvz online zombie pigs which the underground Palace is based on. Pretty neat stuff)
My personal theory is that Impus knew too much. He probably overheard or even saw Zomboss send Camo into the past. So Zomboss had to shut him up.
