Covid19 has presented an amazing opportunity and challenge: by postponing and relocating Ironman Texas to Waco, the day before Ironman Waco 70.3. ‪They announced today that Ironman Texas and Waco 70.3 will be on back to back days in October. Doing both on consecutive days is just the kind of challenge I have been looking for.

Two day total of 210.9 miles: 3.6 mile swims, 168 mile rides, and 39.3 miles of running.

Absolutely. Fucking. Insane.

If you ran a marathon and AVERAGED a 5 minute mile pace, you would be more than 10 minutes off a 2 hour clip.

No matter how you feel about running and endurance training, this guy deserves respect, especially if he breaks it.
