Hey there... I have a question that might seem random... I saw an illustration (reblogged by manwithoutborders, I believe) of a character in a dogi shading a small plant - I believe it came from your page. The wording on the illustration is what caught me off guard. Could you tell me what that picture is about? Thank you for your time!

Hi Friend! oh- oh haha oh my! So I just read your tumblr name- no wonder the title caught you by surprise!? Not a random question at all. You’re referring to this, correct? I’ll  preface with: I’ve heard this phrase many times, and it’s always something that rang true to me. Mainly because sometimes I have an “all or nothing” personality and I often catch myself on the precipice of taking a nosedive into the land of “too much”. So this expression usually makes me smile, breathe and gets me back in the right head space :)  The summer was suuuuper busy for me and i just started thinking about this expression again. I love the summer and the sun, and training martial arts, too. But sometimes I love it all a little too much and its good for me to remember that little plants need more than just sun if they want to grow. Hence the drawing! I hope that answers your question :)

hmm probably getting over my ED and low self esteem. I worked really hard and Im extremely happy with where I am now. It was a really hard struggle through middle school and high school but I surrounded myself with people I love and powered through!

what kind of support you feel would be best, and I'm here for you. And, if it counts for everything, I always smile when I see you post things about your life, and when I see your picture. you're beautiful! and as hard as that might be for you to see in yourself sometimes, there are countless people that see it in you every day, who don't give a shit about a number on a scale, as long as your health is where it should be. *HUGS!!!
