Hybrid characters
Decided to draw some of my Inatari hybrid characters.
Larn - She is a very sweet, bouncy, and kind woman who can be a little up in the clouds sometimes. Inatari have a tradition of adult and child names where usually only those closest to them will use their baby name but Larn decided not to take an adult name, preferring the one she already had. She’s also moved a lot further from home than her half brother, Orion, and moved westward to Seawyth where she started up a shop of her own where she sells pottery, trinkets she makes, and other crafts. She loves working with her hands and creating. Larn is also quite impulsive sometimes and can go through with plans without fully thinking about how it’ll end. She also gets distracted half way through a project as well and run off to do something else. She’s an Inatari-Azalean hybrid.
Orion - He’s very reserved and while he looks on the meaner side he’s generally a bit introverted, laid back, and tentatively friendly. Inatari culture isn’t very social due to their territorial nature so he’s not very good with the more social races but is trying his best to learn their societal dynamics and quirks but with how many there are it’s a little confusing. He’s the leader of a small town nestled in the Middlestall Woods just off the coast and is still trying to learn how to manage the town and is doing his best. Orion can be indecisive and hesitate to make decisions when he isn’t 100% sure of what’s going on, leading to him putting off important decisions but he’s getting better and gaining confidence in his ability to lead. He’s one of my original characters in this world so I definitely have a soft spot for this boy uwu. He’s an Inatari-Vesrean hybrid.
Abura - She is a confident, smart person with a cunning and tricky personality. She’s the second in command to the leader of a band of smugglers and keeps the slightly neurotic and impulsive leader, Averus, in check and also manages their money. She’s a very vital part of the operation and somewhat acts like a big sister to some of the upper members of the group who she’s close with. She cares for them but isn’t afraid to beat them if they do stupid shit. Abura is very proud and can take insults to her or her group rather personally, sometimes not knowing when to let conflicts go as she definitely inherited the temper that Inatari are known for. She is an Inatari-Azalean hybrid.
Many hybrids in the world are Azalean crosses as their ability to change their form makes it easier for them to cross breed with other species. Other common crosses are Vesrean-Amorus
