New OC just dropped
Her name is Emily and she is an inchling. (About 4.25 inches tall.)
She hunts for food for her community and fights off small monsters. Her scar was from a scuffle with one of said monsters.

What is the best type of inchling (minecraft origins) architecture?
secret tunnel
tree hut
secret tunnel through the mountains
launch pad (3... 2... 1... blastoff!! both for elytra and triton usage)
secret underwater base using smooth stone stairs
secret secret secret secret tunnel yea
Fun facts about inchlings!
Because of the velocity based damage immunity
You don't take fall damage
You don't get hurt when throwing enderpearls
You don't take damage if you crash into the side of a mountain using an elytra or triton
You can't trample crops (very helpful for farming)
You are a living water bucket/ladder clutch
This is highly beneficial when making sharp drops inside of a tunnel. Combine this with your ability to climb any surface and it means you don't need ladders to go up or down tunnels, saving on resources!
Because you can climb walls and can walk through berry bushes and cobwebs
Your small size means when you make secret tunnels, you don't need to install ladders for elevation changes
Similar to arachnid origins, you are immune to cobwebs. Although you do not generate cobwebs as a defense mechanism, your small size grants you the advantage when it comes to places you can climb (I kinda thought arachnids would be the inchlings main weakness due to cobwebs possibly slowing us down but nah we good)
Spruce forests can be your favored terrain if you like using sweet berry bushes as a defense mechanism (personally, I prefer dark oak. Trees are large and easy to hollow out for secret tunnels)
You can carry sweet berries on you at all times to act as a portable weapon and obstacle you are immune to (like blazes and lava buckets)
Ender dragon fights are easier as you can simply climb the pillars to destroy the end crystals
Because of your small size
You have a very small hitbox
You are basically an intelligent version of a baby zombie who can also build
You need to be closer to mobs to aggro them
Your nametag is harder to spot (admirable trait for secret tunnel system)
You are harder to spot (good for when you don't want to be spotted. When you do want to be spotted, uhhhh)
All water blocks below a solid block have just enough room for your surface and regain oxygen, making cave dives very easy
Using this fact, you can also bring blocks during normal dives to create small air pockets
You require less food than the average player, making starving to death a thing of the past (in an economy full of phantoms and origins with restricted diets, you can maximize the food you make in exchange for other goods)
Secret tunnels only require you to mine one block per block travelled. If you are an overachiever like me, you need only to mine 4 blocks per block travelled to achieve a fully furnished secret tunnel (wood planks above and to the sides of you, half slab underneath you)
Building your secret tunnels with half slabs will grant you partial x-ray vision whenever you run down the tunnels and your head clips into the ceiling (you do not take damage from this)
Assasination sniper time (stealth)
Your attack speed is increased (tiny baby zombie with human intelligence, builder's abilities, advantage on crowded or steep terrain, small hitbox, reduced appetite meaning more running, and high stealth capabilities?? awesome)
Because you can jockey off other players
Friends who are immune to lava and fire can carry you above the lava similar to a strider
When you jockey, you can ensure that you never get separated from the group again
You can jockey off other inchlings (four inchlings in a trenchcoat) It does not appear to have a limit (inchling tower???)
When others are using elytras (including other inchlings, you can use them like a commercial airplane)
You can hold peoples stuff for free rides
You can act as a turret for your friends
Other origins with mobility benefits will also benefit you i.e. elytrians, avians, enderians, arachnids, merlings, felines, bumblebees, etc. (not immunity benefits though, riding phantoms will suffocate you if they phase through blocks, being submerged in lava will kill you but riding on someone who is in lava without touching the lava yourself is fine)
Multiple inchling can sit on the same player, no known limit (never get seperated from the group again)
The face of a man who fought god and got reduced two half a block in height.
So I haven't had a PC in months and still don't but soon I will! But because of it I haven't been able to play minecraft and I really miss my origin server so to cope I made mine and my friends characters. Quick and simple project and I love how they turned out. 🥺
Diggs the gecko inchling who loves red stone so much that he's inhaled a bit too much and is going mad slowly. Loves experimenting with Redstone and is making a factory and is starting to mess with skulk...
Enfield the fox, he started out as a villager but in our hc the illagers took him and made him this way to make him build for them and he was rescued but the small gecko and the very large dragon. He now lives near his original village to help them with his builds. Because of the experiments, he continues to mutate and is growing wings. He loves plants and farming so became a druid.
Phantom the dead spider??? All I got for a background was that one day he was alive and had 8 legs and the next he was dead. He's a phantom of course but seems to love the magic with the supernatural. He now practices necromancy and has blood viles of everyone here. He is the second oldest creature in the group.
Bunnie the shulk. She's a new Comer to the Overworld and is trying to figure herself out and has went down the cult route.... she enjoys killing wandering traders and villagers despite the Curator's requests to stop. However, she knows she can't got to the old but large village to the west of the island she spawned on. So she built a temple and looks for loyal followers.
The Curator is the oldest being in the Overworld and maybe even in the Nether. They came from the End but no one knows why but they are of royalty from Jean? herself possibly. A dragonborn with frie breath and great strength. They have build massive constructions such as making the Stronghold a massive library about EVERYTHING one could possibly be looking for. Books about every animal, monster, humanoid, origin, environment, magic item and realm. They constructed a large village that holds generations of villagers that started out as zombies that they had cured and even runs a tavern for souls that spawned into this new world and are lost or looking for a new home.
hey guys would you want to hear about the fucked up biology of inchlings? (the origin mod Minecraft one)
its so funky and i love them so much.
its fine if you dont though <3 (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLE–)
OC-tober 2022 || Day 4: Re-designed
No planned redesigns from me, so take these concept sketches instead! They belong to my (still) unnamed Inchling OC and contain designs for her species/origin.
inchling origins got me acting silley,
