What's Your Fantasy (ft. Shawnna) - Ludacris

While not my usual superhero fare, I wanted to highlight a really good comic that’s on sale right now, which was published under the DC Comics Vertigo Imprint. Incognegro is the story of a mixed race man who is able to pass as white in the 30s, and uses this to investigate lynchings and other hate crimes around the countries. He’s right about to quit when his brother is charged with murdering a white woman, requiring him to go undercover one last time to clear his brothers name.

It’s an excellent story with great art, and is a complete story in a single volume. It was inspired by a true story (Walter White went undercover in a similar way in the 20s), and is just generally a good (but, fair warning, very heavy) read.

Most importantly, it’s part of the Humble Bundle Be The Change bundle, supporting either The Bail Project, the Carl Brandon Society, or the National Urban League.
