Irihata is so done with his team

they do not play nice with other teams

literally no friends on other teams bc they’re too competitive and all of them are little shits

oikawa cannot go more than a minute without insulting them in a really underhanded way and makki and mattsun just make fun of them and yahaba has inherited oikawa’s penchant for clever insults and iwa surprisingly is on oikawa’s side with this one bc he thinks it’s funny

irihata decides to have a practice match with karasuno bc karasuno is known to be a team that has a lot of friendly rivalries and that’s what he wants for seijoh

he tells the team beforehand to play competitive but like nicely (no self esteem destroying insults i’m looking at you oikawa)

so the day comes and karasuno gets there and the third years meet them at like the gate and are just like silent until takeda says something and then makki and mattsun start reading a script off of makki’s phone in like a monotone voice
