How to increase focus while studying/working
It is very often to find ourselves wondering away while studying or working. This can become really frustrating sometimes because we end up spending much more time on a single time than necessary. It is because we do not perform the task with a relaxed mind.
So, here are some trips to calm your mind and increase focus while studying -
Always study at the same spot - By Setting up a separate spot for studying we train our brain to identify the particular spot with work. It can help as we sub-consciously enter into a ‘work mode’.
Remove distractions - We often find it difficult to go long hours without checking our mobiles and social media. Our brain actively looks for distractions. To cope with this, we must place our mobile phones or any other distractions farther from us. This also helps in training our brain to not for distractions.
Listen to soothing music while studying - Different form of music has proven to be helpful in promoting relaxation and increase focus. Some students listen to classical music while other listen to nature music such as ‘Rain sounds’ to increase focus.

Set up a study routine - We often struggle with lack of motivation to study. But the thing is that we cannot always feel motivated towards doing a certain task such as studying, we need discipline instead. To stay disciplined , we must set up a proper study routine for ourselves and stick to it. This way we develop a habit of studying and automatically train our brain to focus during those periods.
Practise meditation - Meditation is a powerful technique which helps us calm down . By practising meditation for at least 20 mins a day, we can significantly increase our concentration and focus. Moreover meditation can also promote faster learning.
