Last week, the longevity-obsessed tech investor revealed that he had been diagnosed with an incurable autoimmune disease in which his “stomach is eating itself.” But, true to his mission, Johnson believes he can biohack his way out of this gut-punch, too. “I’m going to try and solve it,” he wrote on X. “Will share all.” The disease Johnson says he was diagnosed with is autoimmune gastritis, a condition in which the immune system’s antibodies go rogue and start attacking stomach cells. It often manifests without noticeable symptoms, and can lead to cancer.

The thing about transhumanism that sucks is that on one half of the aisle you have trannys who regularly just inject microchips into themselves, not fearing the thought of death and doing it purely because "it'd be cool." but on the other half of the spectrum it's tech bros that think that cold showering at 4:30 AM and eating fish oil supplements counts as "biohacking."

like... both groups saw the endless potential upgrades possible with the advance of tissue-compatible polymers/electronic coatings/chemicals, and where one saw the potential for bioluminescence and replaceable limbs, the other one saw the ability to let Elon Musk sell ad space in their dreams and loved it.
