Hey, in case anyone needs to hear this, if you go into your Account Dashboard settings, there’s a new(??) toggle to switch off that “Based on your Likes” feature. I don’t know about you, but I kept getting the same damn post on my dash over and over even after selecting the ‘This Post Isn’t For Me’ option multiple times, so. FYI.

i'm morbidly fascinated by the ways terfs speculate about what exactly is 'wrong' with trans men to make us this way using only the most one dimensional concept of what a trans man is, and how flimsy their theories are when held up to an actual trans man.

like, you couldn't possibly be a real man, no, you're just confusing masculine presentation and hobbies for being a man! i'm not particularly masculine, though. i still enjoy wearing makeup and skirts and playing cutesy video games.

then you're trying to escape the trauma inherent to the female existence! well no, i've never experienced catcalling or men pursuing me aggressively or anything like that, i've never been discriminated against in a work environment, and if anything my dad was harder on my (cis) brother in a lot of ways so being amab wouldn't have saved me from that.

well, then you must just be a poor lesbian, too ashamed of your love for women to BE a woman! except, no, i'm bisexual.

well then you MUST be a filthy fujoshi, fetishising the idea of being a gay man! still bisexual. also, weird how that facade of sympathy is just completely dropped at the idea of a gay trans man, huh?

mental illness, then! it's just gender dysphoria, which doesn't ACTUALLY mean you're a man! i'm non-dysphoric.

then you're faking it for attention! wow, yeah, all that attention i get. in real life i'm mostly closeted because my parents would never accept me, and online 99% percent of the followers i get these days are bots and i have >60 on instagram. so much attention! everyone loves me now!! /sarcasm

all of it is bullshit and half of it is just projecting their own untreated trauma onto us. besides the fact that they seem to think that we expect to like, escape the scrutiny women face by... being trans. which is somehow more socially rewarded than being a cis woman, apparently.
