𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓. please read below for a specific plot i would like to develop with a single partner. if you are interested in such, please like this post and i'll reach out. i'd like for this to be a closed plot/pairing, so i won't be doing this with multiple people. thanks so much if you give it a read, and thanks even more if you take an interest!

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬.

muse a is recently divorced from her husband of ten or more years. they met when they were young and thought it was the kind of love that would last a lifetime. she's in her forties, and together they share at least one child. reason for divorce is entirely up to player, but it's new and she's still learning how to navigate her life without her ex in it. it comes with a lot of new things, like co-parenting and an empty space in her bed.

𝐟𝐜 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. i would love to see kerry condon for this. for anyone interested, but might be hesitate due to resource availability, i can help! there is a public pack posted, another pack that can be accessed via ko-fi with a pay what you can option, and i personally did a pack for her that has a little over 300 gifs. another fc i could see working for this would be rebecca ferguson. if you have another in mind, please feel free to shoot the idea to me!

muse b is a mess of a man. he's in his mid-thirties, hasn't ever truly committed to anyone other than his athletic career that was cut short due to injury, and the only love he's ever known was for hockey. he's been retired for two years and now owns a sports bar called the penalty box. he's charming and witty, but it reads as arrogant at times.

𝐟𝐜 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬. david corenswet, josh mckenzie, paul anthony kelly, aaron pierre, and gabriel basso. i'd be open to other potential fcs, but these are what i've been learning toward so far and are in no particular order!

𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐭.

after a recent messy divorce, muse a wants to find herself again. it's been a long time since she's been single and a part of her has forgotten what that feels like. her friends, on the other hand, are eager to get her out. they manage to talk her into a night on the town and end up landing at a sports bar running a special on drinks. muse b is the owner of that bar, a retired hockey player turned business owner. it doesn't come up in conversation, but after laughs and drinks and one too many flirtatious lines, the pair end up going home together.

the next morning, reality sets in. maybe there was incident with her child, or ex called a billion times and now she's seeing all of the notifications on her phone. maybe all that worry she drowned out the night before comes rushing in when she sees him sleeping next to her. maybe she realizes she isn't ready to move on after all. this is entirely up to the player!

but then there's him. if she's gone before he wakes up, he'd be curious. if she isn't, then he's asking if he can see her again. it shouldn't have mattered, but it does, because there is something about her that he just can't push out like he usually does.

there's the angst of her thinking she's too old for him, and then him not seeming to care or understand that they're in different points in life. there's the domestic angst of both of them navigating feelings they don't quite know how to grasp. there's him trying to convince her that their age gap (7 to 10 years) isn't as bad as she thinks it is. there's her family (child, ex-husband) that complicates things. oh, and the angst of her learning of his past career and the popularity it still brings him.

𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫.

as a fair warning, i will be somewhat picky with this plot, as it means a lot to me and i have a lot of ideas, and i want to see this develop for a long time coming. i would like my potential writing partner to be comfortable with exchanging discord names, because i'd love to headcanon, plot, and create musings for this plot/pairing and tumblr's dms aren't always the most convenient way to do that. while i'd prefer writing this on tumblr, i also wouldn't be opposed to writing on discord if that is someone's preferred platform.

okay but where my clumsy witches at? no, no— i don’t mean incapable, on the contrary— one of those really capable with spells and potions, just a little clumsy (if that’s the right word 🤔). she can’t find a specific herb BUT WORRY NOT, your friendly neighbourhood wolf can help you!! both go on journeys to far off / fictional lands. they meet all kinds of different people and other creatures, they get in danger and have to fight but in the end they get them herbs or goblin teeth, or dragon blood or something. i beg, if anyone’s interested, hit me up! i want something like that 😩🙏🥺

muse a was once a bartender who had a gift for getting people together now turned into a matchmaker competing for a CEO position against rival, muse b. muse b becomes muse a's mentor as they navigate their new position at the company. muse a gets paired with muse b to get and unmatchable couple together aka their boss

muse a is an aspiring singer discovered by a superstar, one of their favorites, navigating the pressures of fame, music industry, and romance. after competing in a TV show, beginning to record music, and manage their reputation to achieve superstar status. muse b is a bad boy/girl who is assigned to be muse a's partner to help clean up their act to the public. muse a is on a deadline to finish their album and help muse b appeal to the masses until their relationship stunt comes to an end due to their labels calling it "boring". now they have to decide if its real or they should cause a scandal to keep it going

would love an opposites attract—- like muse a is an amazing cello player, one of the best in the world. serious, dedicated, detached. muse b has a garage band. probably plays the bass. only dreams of making my people happy with their music.

oh and they’re both competing for a final spot in a school/competition

need to finish my audiobook, and then I can tinker around with Omniel and fix him up to look pretty with a bow. Here's some plots I used to love with him that I'd love to do more of!:

Note: I don't base him off of any specific theology. I prefer to create my own, vague idea of 'angels' as the beacon of good in the fight for 'good and evil'. Once a very prominent figure within the celestial kingdom above, he turned towards darkness and now seeks to corrupt his fellow kin and mortals alike... If you prefer to base it within a certain pantheon, I would be open to discussing!

since his fall, Omniel has spent the past few millenias roaming the earth to find and tempt guardian angels to fall beside him.

along the same vein of a plot, Omniel acts as a 'guardian angel' to a human when he is actually pulling them away from their fate and corrupting them.

Fellow deviants joining him to do deviant things together.

him having a human pet?? or... him having an angel as his pet????

meeting other angels that he used to be close with before his fall and the angst that comes with that.
