indigo bower → the final girl
Marvel Cinematic Universe fanfiction + leading ladies
Ophelia Stane → Darkest Hour Indigo Bower → Lost Creatures Anya Bower → Lost Creatures Arcadia Tivan → Bad Moon Rising
Clint Barton & Indigo Bower + Avengers: Age of Ultron → Avengers: Endgame
In that instant, he didn’t see the fearless Morningstar. He looked into her eyes and saw the teenage girl he’d first discovered was his daughter, what felt like so many years ago. Her mother was gone - the woman Clint had loved. Her baby brother was gone. Her boyfriend was gone. But Indigo was still here.
She wasn’t a skilled, broken mercenary. She was just a lost girl, trying to find home. When she smiled, he couldn’t tell if it was rain or tears on her cheeks.
“Hi, Dad,” she whispered.
[1 /2] magical characters → Indigo Bower - Lost Creatures [Avengers]
Well, I’m the one who saved your life. Yes, you’re welcome.
Indigo Bower + Avengers: Age of Ultron → Avengers: Infinity War → Avengers: Endgame
Once she’d been a teenage superhero. Now she was a grown-up assassin.
Once she’d been Delirium. Now she was Morningstar.
Once she’d been admired. Now she was feared.
how do you think endgame is going to affect each of your marvel ocs??
Ophelia Stane - depending on the time jump and how long it might be, Ophelia may or may not have had her and Steve’s son, Franklin “Frankie” Rogers (which tbh would be freaking adorable but let’s see). She’s running the show at Stane Corporation, but she kind of misses being Cobra and the vigilante days.
She’s heavily grieving the loss of Cassio, and even though it’s absolutely not her fault, she feels responsible because she’s always promised she would protect him. Funnily enough, that loss is what draws her closer to her estranged dad, Ezekiel, who is basically a functioning alcoholic.
Again, depending on how the movie pans out, it’s highly possible that Ophelia will end up making a huge sacrifice to get Cassio back.
Indigo Bower - she’s definitely on the darkest path of the Marvel ocs. Indi lost her boyfriend, Pietro, her little brother Theo and her mum Anya in the Decimation. Instead of using this to bond with Clint, she couldn’t handle the loss and essentially fled. Over the span of time since then, she’s become ruthless vigilante Morningstar, who basically hunts down and kills murderers, rapists, sex traffickers etc.
When Clint comes across her, he barely recognises the person she’s become - because it’s like looking into a mirror at what he was like as a young assassin. He sees how scarred and deeply emotional his daughter is, and he just wants her to come home, but I think it takes Indi some time to accept and move past what she’s lost.
Arcadia Tivan - she flees back to the safety of her satellite after the events of Infinity War, along with her and Loki’s young child. Like honestly she’s lost a lot of people she’s loved over her lifetime, usually in tragic manners, so to her she just kinda gives up and works on moving past the loss.
But she knows more about the Infinity Stones than anyone else alive. She’s the person who told Gamora where the Soul Stone was. So the Avengers are basically like, we need you on our side with this one, not as a fighter but as a source of information.
Indigo Bower + Avengers: Endgame
Clint Barton craned his neck up to examine the plasma screen - and the familiar face on it.
Wanted: alive. 5′5, blonde hair and blue eyes, slender build. Early 20s. Armed and dangerous, approach with extreme caution. Extremely proficient with firearms. Gifted - invisibility and force fields.
Alias: Morningstar
Reward: $50,000
He recalled the face that stared down at him, fierce and scowling. He could still remember the sound of her laugh, her mischievous grin when she knew she’d done something he’d disapprove of.
The world had chewed up the carefree girl his daughter had been, and spat out a hardened young woman in her place.
🖊 + Indigo Bower <3
We don’t have much to go on for Endgame, but the idea is that Indigo has gone vigilante. Like her dad Clint, she’s gone down a dark path due to losing almost all of her family in the Decimation. Indigo takes down murderers, sex traffickers, the messed up people in society. She’s damn good at it too - her loss and her drive have turned her into a vicious and feared fighter.
I have this headcanon that Clint comes across a masked Indigo aka Morningstar and fights her, and when it’s over and she tasks the mask off, he realises it’s his daughter, all grown up and bitter as hell. And then of course that will lead to a heap of angst and eventual reconciliation between them!
