it was a strange feeling. as if he was waking up again in.. wherever he found himself. he had no idea what this place was but he knew it was nothing like his home. he’d found himself wandering the streets of dc, before noticing a familiar face. he couldn’t be sure but the feeling he had, he just felt like he knew it was her. she’d looked so much like her mother. “kirei? is that really you?”

facing her family had not been easy thus far, and she knew it would only get harder seeing kirei again. knowing she would have to it eventually, but being hit with the reality of what happened, of what bastilla had done.. it wasn't easy. she nearly chickened out several times, standing there before her niece's door, fighting the urge to just leave, to turn on her heel and run the other direction. but eventually, she mustered the courage enough to knock, knowing that nothing would get better if she didn't face it. "kirei. we need to talk." she sighed, shaking out the anxiety in her hands. "i need to apologize."

“i meditate mostly for a 15 minute break from this ongoing shitshow.” she wasn't sure if it actually helped, considering asami had always done a fairly good job of handling her emotions, but she had managed not to freak out at all while dealing with the city, at least not terribly. "though i don't know if i'm actually any good at it. i can barely get through fifteen minutes without pacing. back home it probably would have been considered more of bending thing, so it wouldn't be for me." asami said with a chuckle, not worrying too much about the fact that as far as she knew the stranger wouldn't have any reason to even know what bending was. she didn't really expect a ramble like this to be taken too seriously anyway.

.｡.:*☆ The Avengers had been breaking apart after Thanos’ victory. And, no, Clint had not done much to change that. He really didn’t wanted to get involved with any of them because of what he’d planned to do. How he had planned to spend his life from this point.

However, knowing Natasha, Clint should have expected her to track him down, sooner or later. “Whatever it is, I do not want to get involved with it,” He just flatly told her, not even looking up from his coffee. First the Blip, and now being stranded in this odd paralell version of Washington, DC. He was done with his life, basically. “I amno Avenger anymore. So, whatever it is, you better find yourself someone else to help you with it.”
