.｡.:*☆ It was late, and Clint actually just wanted to get inside and be done with the day. The weather had been shit lately, cold and rainy, so, desite it being the middle of May already, he had decided to take some of the wood inside for the fireplace.

That was when Clint spotted someone on the edge of his property. “Hello?” He called, voice slightly annoyed. “Can I hepl you? Like, are you searching for something or someone here, or…?”

.｡.:*☆ Standing in the front yard of his house, Clint was busy working on his car. There was something wrong with the engine - it was making very weird noises when driving, and since Clint was low on money, he was sort of trying to figure it out on his own.

That was when he noticed the man. Was he staring at him? Gosh, Clint was paranoid lately. He was for sure just going to visit someone else in the complex. Yet, after a couple of minutes, he decided to raise his voice, anyway.

“Hey mate,” Clint called, nodding lightly. “You are needing any help, or….?”

.｡.:*☆ “Loki.” Of course the trickster was here. Clint should have known it. So far, he was unware of Loki’s death by Thano'ss hands. Just like he was unaware of so many others things that had happened after.

But, even if Clint would have known, he would still not trust the God the slightest, that much was for sure. “I assume you have nothing to do with this all here, or…. do you?” Like, it would explain the chaos. But then, would Loki show himself that openly, giving people the chance to maybe catch him?

“Like, do not tell me now that you are trapped in this place just like everyone else around you….”

It had been Wanda's idea to renovate the place, and while Clint had of course offered to help, he was letting her making most of the decisions when it came to colours and whatever. That wasn't really his strong side, after all.

"I only mean, because it does seem a little too bright to me?"

.｡.:*☆ Of course his car had to break down like this on the empty road in the outskirts of DC . And of course his phone had decided to stop working, as well. So there was no chance event that he could at least call for help.

Not knowing what else to do, Clint placed himself at the side of the road, holding out his thumb, hoping someone would pass by soo. And that this someone would actually decide to stop and help him….

"But, you are right. What Thanos has done was insane and unforgivable. And yet...." He sighed, suddenly sounding very very tired. "Nothing you should concern yourself with, really. Take that advice from someone who'd been there already."

.｡.:*☆ The Avengers had been breaking apart after Thanos’ victory. And, no, Clint had not done much to change that. He really didn’t wanted to get involved with any of them because of what he’d planned to do. How he had planned to spend his life from this point.

However, knowing Natasha, Clint should have expected her to track him down, sooner or later. “Whatever it is, I do not want to get involved with it,” He just flatly told her, not even looking up from his coffee. First the Blip, and now being stranded in this odd paralell version of Washington, DC. He was done with his life, basically. “I amno Avenger anymore. So, whatever it is, you better find yourself someone else to help you with it.”
