AU: Pawn Shop Hades and Flower Shop Persephone
"I trace the faith to a broken down television, and put on the weather," Bleachers blasted into Hades' ears as he walked across the street, "And I've trained myself to give up on the past cuz I've frozen time between hearses and caskets," He searches his pockets for change, finding just enough cash in his pocket to buy the flowers he wanted. Something to spruce up his dark dank little pawn shop full of other people's precious objects and so few of his own.
"I was losing my mind, because the love, the love, the love, the love, the love, that I gave, I wasted on a nice face," He looks up to see the co-owners, Demeter and Persephone. He had only heard of the mother-daughter shop team, never actually able to build up the courage to go inside. He was always seen as a 'bad boy', dressed in black and covered in all manner of tattoos, most noticably the Greek calligraphy on his arms, and a three-headed dog that howls up the back of his neck.
"So now I'm standing on the overpass, screaming at the cars, 'Hey! I wanna get better!'"
Hades steps into the shop, "I'm screaming from the bedroom window, even if it's gonna kill me," He makes his way straight to Persephone, and removed his headset.
"I didn't know I was lonely til I saw your face" The Bleachers blasted out before he stopped the song on his MP3 and looked up to the young woman.
"Hey."
"You're my end and my beginning." ((Here have a serious one now akjsdlkj))
"That isn’t factual, there is no end…" Hades trails off before realizing Persephone was being poetic, "I mean, there is no end to our love."
"Persephone, I made something for you," Hades calls out to his wife. He shows a fairly boring looking peice of quartz with a little pansy at the center.

Kitchen:
What is the character’s favourite food? Pomegranates
Are they good at cooking? How good/bad? Awful. He's an awful cook, which is why he loves raw foods.
Do they leave the dishes out? Nope, he's very neat
What kind of food is in their refridgerator? All kinds of fruits and veggies- and raw meat for Cerberos.
Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more? Seeing as he's a god, I don't see him taking time for mortal things like eating out or getting delivery.
Living Room:
How does the character spend weekends? Buried in his work or entertaining Persephone.
What kind of movies does the character watch? Documentaries and indie films
What do they do with friends? Friends? HAHAHAHAHA He's flexible when it comes to friends
What’s their favourite pasttime? Collecting minerals/gems and creating sculptures with them
What’s their favourite TV show/Film? He strikes me as the type to love How It's Made.
Bathroom:
How does the character prepare in the morning? Brush teeth and assemble outfit.
Do they sing in the shower? Only when he's in a good mood.
What kind of hair product/make-up do they use? Have you seen his lack of hair?
How clean is this character? He likes things simple, orderly and clean.
Does the character have thousands of shampoo/shower gel bottles by the shower, or do they use only the bare essentials? Bare essentials.
Bedroom:
How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines) He tosses in his sleep a lot. Sometimes he ends up kicking Persephone in his sleep.
What are their pyjamas like? Simple, grey pyjamas.
What do they dream about usually? Most of his dreams are just vivid colors
How neat/tidy is this character? I can't remember this there is a Greek god of order, but I think Hades could fill that role.
How affectionate is this character? Depends on who you are.
Attic:
What is the character afraid of? Losing control
How do they deal with bad memories? Bury them. Nobody gets to know his weaknesses
What is this character’s role in a horror movie? No clue
How do they hide their secrets? He's meticulous. If he wanted to hide something, he destroys every small detail he can and overdoes it with his detailed lie.
Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most? Pride

"I can't believe my own mother would pull me out like that. And for what? 'Not enough crops'" Persephone quotes with her fingers, "The farmers can do plenty well without me, it's her that controls wheat's growth,"
Hades nods understandingly, leading her to sit on a chair, "I'm glad you're home safe," He murmurs into her ear. His hands slowly trace up her arms, his thumbs easily finding the knots in her shoulders and working circles into them.
"I am too, just..." She begins, ready to start her ranting again. Hades moves his hands to the nape of her neck, his thumbs working more knots while his lips press against his neck as he hums in agreement. Slowly, Persephone's shoulders relax under Hades' touch and any mutterings about her mother stop.
"There, feel better?" Hades smiles, kissing her neck and squeezing her shoulders.

The underworld is such a darker place without Persephone.... Gods that sounds pathetic. I hope she never hears about that.
