I finished THE BOOK! I hadn’t read any reviews or guide books, online debates about “what the author meant” before I started, and I believe this is how it should be read, so you’ll find no spoilers here. Also, THE BOOK wants to be read slowly (you’ll thank me later😉). DFW wanted the story to be sad and it truly is but also fun and entertaining and you don’t want to stop reading it. I absolutely understand people who finish THE BOOK and then immediately start it over again.
