Coco and Lucy

okay so. a ton of people write alternate universes where natsu’s siblings with wendy because of their brotp, but like. i haven’t seen a single fic that talks about the relationship between coco and lucy? they would have such a good sibling vibes, especially with the way that both earthland coco and edolas coco basically imprint on lucy when she shows them kindness. i just think that it would be a really nice story of found family, and also that it would be really cute for coco to be lucy’s little sister who she argues with but at the end of the day they would both throw down for each other, given by what both edolas and earthland coco have done to save lucy and lucy’s attempts to save coco. like please. i adore lucy give her people who actually look up to her instead of just turning natsu into the only one who has little sibling-like admirers.

like. please. imagine for a second, with me, a modern au where lucy has approximately the same background but that’s also different. lucy ran away from her father by going to college and cutting him off, and because she needs money she ends up getting some various jobs (maybe that’s what fairy tail could be? like. fairy tail is just a place where people look for other people to help them with various tasks according to their skill sets. so if you have institutions like that in this world, even though they’re actually just different tasks and most aren’t fighting monsters or anything like that) and one of them could be babysitting coco. given by how young she is, at least in edolas, and she’s working for the king, something probably happened to her parents at a relatively young age. they don’t really have to be dead for this, maybe just really busy, or you could even have other edolas or zentopia characters being her parents. sorry i’m rambling, but getting to the point. in episode 137, (i don’t know what manga chapter this is, sorry) virgo calls lucy princess while coco is watching and they’re running away from dan. coco, though lucy can’t hear her, says “princess? i had no idea lucy was actually royalty! of course she is! that explains why she’s so kind and beautiful!” and besides for that being incredibly soft, it would also make for a really cute au where lucy uses all her rich heiress training from when she was growing up to play princess with coco. imagine lucy having taken a couple of her fancy dresses, even though she knew she wasn’t going to need them, just because she thought that she could use them in her suitcase to hide her actual clothes, or that she could sell them if she needed money because they’re finely made. and so next time lucy babysits, she brings one of the dresses and maybe coco has a disney princess dress or something, and they play princess together. lucy and coco go out on walks and play tag in the park because coco still has tons of energy and loves running, and coco practices small tricks, like somersaults and things while she’s gone so that when lucy comes back she can enthusiastically show her and lucy is super excited for her. just. please imagine them being like siblings or just having a close family sort of bond because i love them.

Gajeel and Juvia killed it! I was super excited for them teaming up (why didn't I remember any of this?!) and they sure delivered! I'm so proud of both of them for coming so far since they joined Fairy Tail!

I've been enjoying the Juvia, Gray and Leon subplot in this episode. It's actually great to show Juvia being impressed by Leon because it makes her feelings for Gray stand out even more when she has another option, someone that actually likes her (unlike her ex boyfriend - what's his face) but she doesn't want them. The three of them actually work pretty well as a team when they can focus. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of that going around.

It's actually nice to see everyone in the guild get along with the Legion Platoon. Macao and Wakaba being stuck at that ceremony is cracking me up, though.

I don't have anything coherent to say about the whole thing with Michelle. Those flashbacks are killing me and I am crying. Also, I don't care how Jude recognized her, I only care that he did and that he at least wasn't alone before his death. Michelle never really meant Lucy any harm; she just wanted her sister back and I wish they'd had more time together. But at least she got to live as Lucy's little sister for a while!
