Pretty sure the 🗡️ anon was referring to Alexithymia, aka emotional blindness which is described as trouble identifying, understanding, and describing emotions. Like say, some asks the question of 'how was your day?' Your brain wouldn't know what to say as it sort of doesn't know how to describe or how it feels about their day. While Alexithymia isn't strictly an autism or neurodivergent thing, it still is a lot more common with the groups. I recommend looking into it!

A Double Edged Sword

So, i’v found a fic called ‘A Double Edged Sword’ and after reading the first chapter (it was interesting), i want to ask if anyone know if this is a zucest fic ? because it seems to be but i’m not sure and since it’s a pretty long read, i don’t want to go in with the wrong expectation.

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, well two questions actually. But does Deceit stay the bad guy? Like, does he get a redemption arc or is he the bad guy who the guardians take down eventually? Also, are you taking care of yourself? Yes I can't wait for the next chapter but not at the expense of your health babes. Also, I finished binge reading the previous chapters and they we're amazing as always!

Well, okay. I’m gonna answer these questions in reverse, actually. Yes! I’m taking care of myself the best i can, thank you for checking in ^^ it’s been a slow go with this current chapter for many reasons so i assure you i’m not trying to push myself to any point of harm or exhaustion. I will, however, be working on the chapter later today due to it being a day off for me. I suspect i’ll be close to finishing it if i work on it today! (Also thank you!! I try with these chapters, i can only hope they link together well!)

Now, as for a redemtion arc for Dee. Well, honestly, i can’t tell you much. Most of you probably aren’t expecting one, and I didn’t really have one planned in the past.

However, i’m actually going to leave that decision to all of you, after you read Chapter 8.

Chapter 8 kinda got hijacked by Dee again, but he ended up shedding some light on some things I don’t think many have considered thinking about yet. For the longest time we’ve all kind of assumed that Dee is straight up the bad guy, but, i started this fic not long after Deceit came out as a character in Sanders Sides, and at the time alot of people just went with him as the villain in fics, including me. But, now that at least a year and a half or so has past with me being in the fandom, we’ve come to a difference stance with Dee, and honestly i never liked that Dee ended up seeming straight up ‘evil’ in this fic. Thats not how good stories work. Now, i’m not saying he’s going to be ‘good,’ but theres definately some grey area to be explored in this next chapter that will furthur the growth of many characters in this chapter.

That is why, I will leave the choice to you all.

I don't think ship is the right word for that.

As long as it stay platonic, you are fine.

If you ship it in a romantic sense, I'd advise leaving because I don't support it or any steven/gem stuff.
