I often see posts about wanting to directly support trans women. And I often make posts lamenting the lack of information intake. So here's a twofer:

Erin is an amazing journalist (married to an amazing legislator); her publication almost exclusively covers trans issues and she releases regularly updated trans legislative risk maps for the US.

Subscribe to Parker Molloy

Parker is a kickass journalist (married to a kickass artist); her publication covers more general news - though she often focuses on media criticism - and she's a big baseball fan.

One single song is not going to make a negative impact.

We need to be firm and stand with what's right. Western artists know kpop fans are wayyy more devoted and blind for their idols to support anything they do.

They are trying to take advantage of that fact.

Please do what's right. Keep yourselves and other's informed.

I know it's hard, to keep watching, keep reading and it's never ending. It's worse for them.

However dejected you may feel, support, boycott, donate (if possible), petition and pray.

They will have more comebacks, we will still be listening to them, supporting them. (They have an entire discography of masterpieces). Right now, it's important to be people with hearts first, and fans later.

The idols will understand.

For people without chronic pain who want to understand a little better: There’s a difference between pain and injury. There’s a reason why chronic pain is considered an invisible illness. When we are going through the worst pain, most of the time nothing will show up on any type of scan, bloodwork, or test. Sometimes, we’ll cry out in pain, and there’s nothing you can do because there’s no injury. For some of us, there are techniques to help us, but you have to realize that hurt does not equal a threat to our body most of the time.
