Original Song YouTube Description, explaining the lore of this creepypasta: “In a alternative timeline during the events of Alpha Sapphire, May had failed to stop Team Aqua from unleashing Primal Kyorge onto the world, causing the planet to quickly be engulfed by the ocean. One by one, May’s team drowned due to the unbearable tides, until the only Pokémon she had left was her trusty Roselia. As the Thorn Pokémon watched her beloved trainer slowly fall to the same fate the others had, she decided, as a way to possibly save them both, to use the move Ingrain on the both of them. The vines dragged them both down to the ocean floor, seemingly sealing their fate.
However, due to the move’s healing abilities, they were unable to fully die, resulting in a fate worse than death. Now they suffer at the bottom of a world that has long forgotten them, unable to break free from the curse that Roselia had unknowingly brought upon themselves.

Headcanons for this interpretation of May for my Hypno’s Lullaby Connected Cartridges AU:
May’s Player was a 14 year old kid who loved the Pokémon franchise, and whose favorite character was ironically enough, May, so their parents brought them this copy of Pokémon: Alpha Sapphire. When their save file was saved when May about to fight Team Aqua, life fucking called and they had to stop playing for 5 years as school demanded a lot of time. After 5 years, at 19, they found their copy of Alpha Sapphire in the attic and figured what the hell. They then booted up their old save file and came across Hoenn barren and in watery ruins. They soon found May soon after.
This interpretation of May became self-aware and communicates with their player by talking to them directly. She can see them, and she doesn’t blame them at all. They both were just kids, after all.
