With the recent turn of events, the world is still in shambles even more so now, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate in style. While Hydra is hosting a beautiful bash and display of fireworks in their neck of the city, SHIELD has other plans. They might not have much to celebrate with their losses from the Battle, but it’s Steve Roger’s birthday, and he’s turning 104. That’s no small feat, and so SHIELD is holding it’s very own Fourth of July surprise party for him and the healing Inhumans and agents. Rogue characters can celebrate in either fashion, sneaking into the parties, or hosting their own events.
If anybody has any questions, please feel free to send them our way while we bring activity back onto the dash. This event starts on Monday, July 4th, and will end Saturday, July 9th. After that, no more new starters can be posted, but threads can be carried out until they are wrapped up.
↳ Event 004 Update: The discovery of the S.H.I.E.L.D. base.
With the battle event over, there are more than our fair share of things that happened. As of now, you cannot post anymore starters for the battle, but you can finish any threads already in progress to continue them out. That being said, threads should begin to start winding down soon enough from the past events, and regular threads can continue up until further notice.
All of that aside, here is a timeline of events that occurred during the Battle of SHIELD:
The battle began at 5 am, June 3rd, 2022.
Steve Rogers led the SHIELD side out against the Akron Dougal/HYDRA copy army.
Aurora Dougal escaped from SHIELD with the help of Tobias Gonet and Mason Kenway, but not without thinking that Theon Riggs betrayed her trust.
Rosalie Blackwood remained in SHIELD’s underground cells to be further tested/interrogated in her loyalties and danger to others.
Sylvie Romero was quick in the sky, aiding to anyone during the battle and providing quick fix-ups for the injured, before she was controlled and forced to meet up with Zadrian Dougal.
Kyle Michaelson proved to be a sought-out Inhuman, keeping many agents away before being directed by Steve Rogers to rescue Sylvie Romero.
Zadrian Dougal and Orion Dougal managed to snag Kyle Michaelson’s mind, letting Sylvie Romero go, but not before she broke Akron Dougal’s arm.
Bailee Carver fought tirelessly, keeping the copy agents away from the base, until she saw Kyle Michaelson being taken by the Dougals, in which she got distracted and had a copy agent dislocate her shoulder.
Julian Nichols was quick on his feet, and helped tremendously in the battle, but was overtaken by too large of a group that broke his nose at the last minute before they all disappeared.
Annabella Davidson was empowered with all the bloodshed that she created a powerful force out of the blood, before she had her heart stopped by Aurora Dougal and died.
Mason Kenway secretly revived Annabella Davidson and took her to HYDRA. Shield thinks she is dead.
Tobias Gonet killed a bunch of SHIELD agents to protect Aurora Dougal and has fled the SHIELD base.
Tony Stark and Wanda Maximoff took out the last of the copy agents and created a shield around the SHIELD base.
Due to succes the event is prolonged til Saturday June 11th! Until this time you can post your battle starters! You can take as much time as you need to finish your threads. After the event we’ll post an update with the exact timeline of the battle so everyone knows exactly what happened!
June 3rd, 5:00 am. ATTENTION AGENTS, INHUMANS AND OTHERS. We are under attack! Agents and inhumans that are able to fight go to the weapon storage and report to Captain America. All those not yet of age go to the Cellars. This is not a drill, we repeat this is not a drill!
Please wait with creating starters until Friday the 3rd 00:00 EST. An official message will be posted on the main. We just wanted to post the prompts so you can prepare for them with the other players! You’re free to create/react on starters outside your prompts as long as they don’t interfer with your storyline! Make sure to read the prompts even if your character isn’t involved since it can contain important information for the overall plot. Please contact the players involved in your prompt and if you’ll be using a chatzy make sure to save and post these threads on your blog!

Prompts event 004
1. After the mission in San Juan ROSE BLACKWOOD got her former powers back. Scared and unable to control them STEVE ROGERS invites her on the S.H.I.E.L.D. plane in order to bring her back safely. When they return to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, it is under attack by Hydra. Afraid Rose might be involved Steve locks her up in one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. cells in order to join the fight and deal with her later.
2. ZADRIAN, ORION AND AKRON DOUGAL are present at the battle of the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, safely behind the front lines. Akron has created an army of ‘copy agents’ that mindlessly roam towards the S.H.I.E.L.D. base. Zadrian has taken control of TOBIAS GONET to go tell STEVE ROGERS that they’ll not cease the attack until they get back their sister.
3. KYLE MICHAELSON is teleporting throughout the battlefield in order to be of assistance when his eyes fall on the Dougals controlling things from a safe distance. He teleports towards them and is about to teleport AKRON DOUGAL to the middle of the ocean when ORION DOUGAL provides a madness-aura and ZADRIAN DOUGAL tries to control Kyle at the same time. Causing Kyle’s mind to be affected and to temporarily form a loyalty towards the Dougals. After the fight he goes with them to the Hydra base.
4.. MALLORY RADCLIFF and CLARA RADCLIFF meet on the battle field for the first time since a year, after believing Mallory was dead. After a brief conversation they attack each other. Mallory is forced to pull back once it becomes clear the remaining Hydra agents are forced back by Tony Stark and Wanda Maximoff (see prompt 8.).
5. NATHANIEL PRICE was at the wrong place at the wrong time and got badly wounded to his shoulder by a Hydra agent*. S.H.I.E.L.D. nurse SYLVIE ROMERO tends to Nathan’s wounds and manages to get them out of harms way.
6. MASON KENWAY has infiltrated the S.H..I.E.L.D. base in order to get AURORA DOUGAL and return her to her brothers. He runs into THEON RIGGS and they are about to fight when Aurora appears. Once she learns Theon thinks she has betrayed them she goes with Mason voluntarily .
7. With the amount of blood that flows from fighting the ‘copy agents’ ANNABELLA DAVIDSON’s power grows stronger and stronger. AURORA DOUGAL has joined her brothers in the fight. They realize their chances of getting away will be less favorable if Annabella is not stopped. Aurora chooses her family and kills Annabella by stopping her heart in order to save themselves. MASON KENWAY is able to revive her but not without a cost. He secretly takes her to the Hydra base with him, leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. under the impression she is dead.
8. TONY STARK is able to end the battle together with WANDA MAXIMOFF by forcing back the remaining Hydra agents with his suits and her powers. They’re able to create a permanent force shield around the S.H.I.E.L.D. base in order to protect it from future attacks.
Aiden is always bored within the Hydra base, everyone who comes within earshot knows that. Pretty much every word out of this inhuman’s mouth is a complaint, sometimes about the noise, sometimes his boredom, sometimes he just complains about the damn weather. But now, right now, Aiden is sleeping like a baby, on the floor of all places. Now, after everything that’s been going on, he shouldn’t be sleeping, let alone on the floor, but there he is, doing exactly that. Granted, he wasn’t aware that he was doing it, he’d just fallen asleep while doing something, but a sudden noise brought him out of this ‘peaceful’ sleep. “WHAT, what, what’s happening, I’m awake, I swear.”
This second wave thing has been a great experience for Aiden. Finally, for the first time in a long time, he can sleep. There’s no annoying, bright lights or static to keep him up or wake him up if he does get some sleep. He can rest. Which, in all honesty, is all he’s been doing. Sleeping is great, it’s a lot better than how it used to be, now he can sleep for hours. But, at the same time, there’s a downside to this whole, ‘new’ power thing. His memories, the ones that he’s gotten back at least, they seem faded, much farther away. That worries him, a lot. What could that mean for his amnesia? Is it getting worse? Is he getting worse? Did his other power, the much more annoying one, the one that made his life hell, multiple times, did that power make his amnesia better? Without it, are his memories permanently gone? With all these questions buzzing around his mind, the inhuman decided to visit the hospital section of the base and seek out help. Of course, there was only one person he felt comfortable talking about this with. “Rose? Rosie, you around?”
Wanda stood outside, hoping to get a breath of fresh air before heading back in to aid the former students with their new abilities. She was grateful her unique inhuman status didn’t lead to the swapping of her powers. She could only imagine the disaster that would occur if her ability ended up in less capable hands, or worse the wrong hands. Still, whatever magic was surrounding the wave had messed with her ability somewhat. She didn’t have her usual control, and it felt as if her power was fighting against her at times and then it would stop. Holding up her hand, she let the red glow form a small ball of energy before she felt it sting her hand. “Govno,” she swore in her native tongue, willing the energy away.
The following are prompts that have been assigned to you. It is recommended that you contact the player(s) you are teamed-up with to arrange a paragraph or chatzy style interaction that can be posted on the Dash. These interactions can occur over the next week as we close up our event and post our final update and status on May 31st, when the Reversal Wave takes affect and gives everyone their normal abilities back. These are just starters, so really, many things can happen and take place during the extent of the events. If you have any questions, let us know and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Having gotten word on SHIELD’s plans to try and set off the Grand Obelisk to reset the Inhumans again, Hydra sent MASON KENWAY after SHIELD to San Juan, where it is located in the underground Kree City. Upon arrival, they entered the underground city, trying to quickly locate the Diviner before SHIELD, but happened upon BAILEE CARVER first. Unbeknownst to them, they entered a tomb that sealed up and began to fill with sand as a safety protocol.
Both JULIAN NICHOLS and ANNABELLA DAVIDSON were ready to make a change by being on this mission. After being debriefed, they were intimidated but teaming up and going in together was a relief. They pressed their luck and found the Grand Obelisk held in the underground Kree city, and, upon retrieval with specially designed materials, ancient Kree guards began to rise. The two have to fight their way out to bring the Diviner back to the base. It is dropped in it’s container before they make it back to the jet.
ROSALIE BLACKWOOD was sent with the HYDRA crew to do follow-up security, but found that the Grand Obelisk had been contained in a SHIELD carrier and buried within the sand. They pick up the container within this stroke of good luck to find that STEVE ROGERS has been watching their every move, and begins to attack them to retrieve the Diviner once more. The struggle between the two causes the case to open and break entirely, shattering into a million little pieces, thus setting off the third wave or the reversal wave, giving everyone their normal abilities. CALVIN EDGAR has been following Steve in order to convince him to let him back into SHIELD but loses his sanity again during the reversal wave.
While doing investigative work in the field looking for significant disturbances in the New York City Wasteland Area caused by the reversal wave, CLARA RADCLIFF came across PAUL CALLAGHAN and were about to fight before being stunned and held captive by HYDRA agents. Held in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city and handcuffed together, the two must escape and make it back through the dark in unknown territory.
