You broke her down to nothing. So, instead, she won everything.

Reader Gets Hurt During A Mission (BSD Akutagawa and Atsushi)
Slight warnings for mention of injuries, but there's no blood/gore.
Atsushi:
After he realises you're injured, Atsushi does his best to end the fight quickly so he can check up on you.
"Can you stand? I don't see any blood, but we should still get you checked up."
You try to tell him you're fine and attempt to crack a smile, but pain shoots through your body and it's reflected in your expression.
Atsushi lifts you carefully into his arms and starts walking in the direction of the agency (dang it, sometimes you forget just how strong he is.)
"Sorry, but you're hurt - I can't just leave you like this."
"You're taking advantage of your strength, carrying me against my will." You argue weakly. "I'll be fine; I've been in worse condition."
"It's not that," he says. "I just can't let myself stand by when someone I care about is in pain." Atsushi then offers you a soft smile, the slightest of pinks dusting his cheeks. "Especially because I care about you a lot."
Akutagawa:
He notices that something's off quickly enough. Your movements have slowed and your hands are trembling slightly.
"What's wrong?"
You shake your head, telling him to focus on the mission. He frowns and steps toward you, using Rashoumon to lift away your arm that's hiding something from his sight.
You wince as his jaw clenches. He sees a wound on your shoulder - it's already starting to bruise from when you got thrown against the wall earlier
"It doesn't hurt that much-"
"Doesn't matter, you're not fighting."
He calls Higuchi over and instructs her to get you treated while he takes care of the enemy. You were about to try protesting again when he shoots you a deadpan look.
"No. I'll take care of it." You don't give up, fixing him with a determined expression. Akutagawa ignores it and turns to return to the battle. "You'll only slow me down. I can't fight and worry about you at the same time."
I keep forgetting to post here, sorry! More art of this OC because I can

(Warning: Mentions of blood and injuries)
My eyes felt heavy as I sat at the table, my elbow resting on the edge holding my head up in my hand. Nat said something which sounded too far away and Steve touched my shoulder making me jump. Steve, Natasha, and I had finished up a mission that took three days longer than we like. While the mission ended somewhat smoothly, it still took a toll on us.
“You okay?” Steve asked concerned. I lifted my head gave a small nod. “You look tired.”
“Yeah, and I feel it.” I told him.
“You should finish your cereal and head to bed.” Steve told me. I smiled.
“Yes sir,” I gave him a small salute causing him to smile. I picked up my spoon and began finishing my late night meal of cereal and milk.
“Have you called Peter?” Nat asked as she took a sip of her tea.
“I called him as soon as we got back, he’s going to be out tonight but we’re hanging out tomorrow.” I told her. Natasha smiled over the edge of her mug.
“Okay, well, I’m finished, and I’m heading to bed.” I pushed my seat away from the table and took my bowl to the sink. I bid goodnight to Steve and Natasha before heading to my room.
I rubbed my scalp as I yawned and picked up my phone. There were a few texts from Peter, one of them saying goodnight. Another after that was asking if we should get ice cream or pizza.
My phone began ringing and I groaned as I reached for it. Peter’s name lit of the screen and I hit answer and sat up quickly.
“Hey Peter, are you okay? It’s the middle of the night?”
“Yeah, kind of?” There was uncertainty in his voice.
“Where are you?” I threw my covers off and got out of bed, turning on the light.
“I’m nearby, I’ll be there soon.” Peter told me. The call ended and I waited until there was a knock on my bedroom window. I rushed over to the window and pulled it open, letting Peter fall inside. There were red lines crossing his face, his mask torn as well as his suit.
“What happened?” I asked pulling Peter to his feet. Peter held onto my arms tightly.
“There was shrapnel in something; I think it was like a bomb.” He told me.
“Okay, come on, we need to get that suit off,” I pulled him further into my room and Peter smirked. “Oh shut up,” The two of us sat down on the floor and I helped Peter out of the top of his suit. There were pieces of shrapnel in his skin.
“This really hurts,” He told me lying on his back.
“I’m going to get some tweezers,” I got to my feet and ran to my bathroom. I opened the cupboard and pulled out everything I needed before running back. Peter who was still lying on his back gave me a smile.
“Peter, I’m not going to lie, this will hurt like tell.” I told him. Carefully, I wiped away some of the blood and dirt that was on his skin.
“How did the mission go?” Peter asked in hopes of distracting himself.
“It went well, it was just too long.” I told him carefully pulling out some shrapnel. Peter grimaced and sucked in his breath. “Nat ended up with a couple of injuries. And someone kicked her in the chest so you can probably guess what happened to them.”
“That last on hurt.” Peter told me as I dropped the final piece into the bin. “Like really hurt, was that a big piece or something?”
“Yeah, it was.” I nodded as I finished wiping away the blood. “This should help,” I gently rested my hand on Peter’s bare chest and felt energy surge through. My hands tingled as the wounds on his chest closed up. I smiled and Peter sat up on his elbows. A smile grew on his face as he looked at his chest.
“That’s still awesome,” Peter told me sitting up properly.
“Do you want to stay the night?” I asked.
“Yeah, I’m too tired. And I think I should get cleaned up.”
“Yes, you should. I don’t want blood on my sheets.” I got to my feet and held out my hands to Peter. He took them and stood up. “I’ve got some spare clothes of yours so let me get them.” I let go of Peter’s hand and went to look for some spare clothes.
“Have I really left clothes here?” Peter asked. I looked over my shoulder to see that he was smiling.
“Yeah, you left a few of your bags here and you forgot so I kept them? They’re clean.” I pulled out a shirt for Peter and some sweatpants before passing them to him with a towel. “And while you go shower, I will most likely fall asleep, because I honestly think it’s a miracle that I’m still standing.”
“How much sleep did you get (Y/N)?” Peter asked.
“I was gone for five days, and I slept for I think 5 hours?” I furrowed my brow as I thought. Peter smiled and gave me a kiss on the cheek before taking the clothes. As soon as the bathroom door closed, I lay down in bed and felt my heavy eyes droop.
The bed shifted and I rolled over, bumping into Peter. The clean smell of soap wafting off him and he frowned.
“I didn’t mean to wake you.” Peter whispered.
“It’s okay, you smell better.” I gave him a small smile and Peter rolled his eyes.
“Come here,” Peter wrapped an arm around my shoulders and I rested my head on his chest.
“I love you,” I mumbled falling asleep.
I opened my eyes to see Peter, still asleep, his chest rising and falling evenly. I smiled and his eyes flittered open as he yawned.
“Were you watching me sleep?” Peter asked.
“I only just woke up, so maybe?” I smiled. “You also drooled a little.”
“Yeah, but you still love me, right?” Peter propped himself up on his elbow and I laughed.
“Yes, I still love you, you dork.”
“Yes!” Peter grinned.
“It’s really early, so I’m going back to sleep,” I told him.
“Was that the most sleep you got?”
“Pretty much.”
(Lemme know what you think!)
Out of curiosity, if Dick ever had any career ending accidents at around like his mid twenties, what do you think he would then do? Also, what did he study in college? I'm still getting into Dick Grayson's various canon appearances, I only currently have the Batman animated series from the nineties, and the Teen Titans cartoon, and one Nightwing comic, to go off of for canon, but I'm really fascinated by him.
Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of Dick, I hope you’ll enjoy your stay! (You will, though. XD)
Tbh, I’m not entirely sure what Dick’s major in college was, but apparently it was something to do with business and finances, probably because of Wayne Enterprises. (There are multiple allusions to Dick taking economics.) I don’t think that this was a subject that Dick was mega interested in, which is maybe one of the reasons why he eventually dropped out of college to dedicate himself to the Teen Titans more. If someone else knows more, please comment! :D
About the career-ending injury; I think that’s a really good question, and it would be a good premise for a story, too. (Sad, but potentially great!) If I had to guess, I think Dick would crash hard if he suffered an injury like that. His movement and his acrobatics are such a defining part of him - he walks on furniture when he’s upset - and losing his mobility is one of his greatest fears (warning: nightmare sequence where his legs got amputated). He’s been known to go stir-crazy when he has to lay low for even a little while. So yeah, it would hit him really hard.
