So, for the record, I feel like the ink demons in their glamor have a "Maiden, Mother, Crone" vibe that I'm very into

I went ahead and made myself those CMYK ink demons I mentioned. Inspired by worlds beyond number's Ink Demons, though I did stray a bit from the demon aesthetic. These are just funky little fellas! I love them an absolutely unreasonable amount. I most definitely would not be a wizard, but if I were these would be my girlies and I would conquer the world just to let them use it as a coloring book. They live in printer ink cartridges instead of ink bottles/wells

I love love love the ink sprites.

Brennan: they're immortal things that don't eat or sleep. So being in a bottle is a state of relative comfort for them. They are not trapped. It's just sort of a neutral state of being as they kick it in a bottle.

Lou: kick it in a bottle

Brennan: and actually I think you would know, Ame, as you sort of perceive them with some witchy sensibility as they're in the bottle, these ink spirits are very tied to the concept of potential. They want to write. So being in the bottles, even though they want to write, isn't bad. You almost feel like when they're in there, disembodied - their bodies just become liquid. They're just in there dreaming of the things they might say.
