Contest Finalists: Boy howdy!

All the finalists for the 900 follower contest are tagged in this image. A winner will be chosen as soon as we’re able to get our shit together over here. All of you will be tagged in this image.

There were quite a few close runners-up, but we really needed to narrow this down because there were so many entries. All of the cards will, eventually, be given a short writeup, just like last time, and they’ll all be posted as well as the writeups are ready.

I’m not a fan of new Zendikar Expedition cards frame. 

Here’s a mockup of how cool would they look like as normal Full Arts we get every set. They could just change the backgroud to this new one, looking like a maze.

Zenoteph, the Extremity - Planeswalker time!

I love the way this card was designed by DES. The only problem here in my opinion is in development. I would give him CMC 6, 4 counters on start and 4 targets on “ultimate” to make him not only pleyable in EDH. Hope you all like him!

A common by DES

A really cool design, but I’m not sure the ability word here is necessary. I’m not a fan of new keywords or ability words. I like to work with the tools given.

@EDIT: After the first wave of feedback I need to say something about Preparation. It’s not a keyword, it’s ability word that can be used in many forms. That’s not mine design but I guess it can be a trigger on some creatures with different number (2 not 1) or could also give haste in some cases. Or simply work on one creature.

Grip of the Guildpact, by DES

I was shocked, or even lightning bolted (roasted!) when I first saw this card. It's so elegant and new at the same time!

Is it too good? With the cost of xUU or XXU would be unplayable, now it's something between Counterspell and Remand. With an option to be just a  Cancel, My guess is it's bit too good but not broken for modern.
