Black Veil Brides at The Roxy (10/18/18)
I just saw Black Veil Brides and they were amazing! I will post some pictures soon, and the videos I took on my youtube. I was up front to the left, so I ended up filming them from behind and to the side a lot. I didnt film all of it, but I got a few songs.
My ticket had said 7:30pm, however, BVB didnt go on until 9pm and they didnt have any other bands playing. Since I had gotten there around 5pm, I got to spend a lot of time talking to the other fans that were there, which was really nice. While we were waiting for BVB inside, I spotted Juliet and Inna, and I think I may have seen Anna too.
When the show finally started, I was struck with how close to them we were! I’ve never gotten to see them so close up! It was really cool not to have security between us, and everyone seemed to be respectful anyways (not grabbing at them or anything). They played a lot of songs they havent done before live (both new and old) like Outsider and Set the World on Fire.
They all looked really beautiful, as always. I couldnt see CC very much because he was in the back. Also, somebody needed to turn the mics up because I could hardly hear them for a lot of parts, though perhaps it was because I was in the front? Jinxx and Ashley came to sing near me a lot, and it was really cool because they’d be looking me right in the eyes while they are singing and playing.
At the end I saw Shaun Kama (I’ve seen him at a few shows before!) and went to say hello and he was very sweet and shook my hand and told me about a BVB tattoo he was working on. I can tell he is a very passionate and hard working person from how he talked about it.
Driving in Hollywood is always intimidating, but I made it back home safely. I dont think I would ever choose to live in a city so crowded, although it is fun to visit!
