Ocean Vuong once said his younger self was the pebble that sent him to every place he ended up. That he is the ripple. That he needs that person — not as something to outgrow, but as the very reason he keeps going.
There is a version of you that existed before the weight of it. Before you learned to shrink, to brace, to earn your presence in every room. That version didn't have a map. They didn't need one. They had something better — an intention so raw it didn't even know it was an intention.
And it was enough.
It was more than enough.
It sent you here.
You are still the ever-expanding ripple of everything they dared without knowing where it would take you. Every circle widening. Every place you stand, something they set in motion.
So find them. That face. Those eyes before the world started editing them.
