sitting here forcing a patient to bring a water bottle outside and lecturing them on the importance of staying hydrated like washing my hands isn’t the closest thing I’ve come to drinking water in the last 3 days.

a bed is finally open so i am being admitted to Sheppard Pratt Trauma Disorder Unit on Monday at 6 pm. I’ll be inpatient for about 3 weeks ✌🏻in the meantime i’ll be cutting the drawstrings out of my pants and shaving one last time.
the treatment facility i’m going to doesn’t let you bring clothes with more that 5% spandex. BUT MY LEGGINGS
Me: Doesn't tell anyone that I'm planning on hanging myself in the shower.
Nurse: You need the sitter in there with you! No showering alone! No going in the bathroom alone!
Me: How in the world did she know!? Freaking Nurse Spidey-sense!!
Toasted sandwich with: -butter -ketchup -mustard Delight!
Just had to spend like 5 minutes untangling my earphone cord from my IV line and omg I hope I don't have to do that again 😂
