What’s the story with the name bread loaf???
//SO!
Basically it’s very simple. When Bread Loaf was born… She was no bigger than half a loaf of bread!! 🍞
She was so tiny Gaster could hold her in both his cupped hands…

Does your character carry a good luck charm? Do they believe in luck?
Gaster doesn't carry a good luck charm, and he doesn't believe in luck, but he does believe somewhat in Karma. This is due to his magical ability "Karmatic Retribution" which Sans inherited.
Even though he's gone through so much devestation in his life, if Gaster did believe in luck, he'd consider himself pretty lucky to be surrounded by all his loving friends and family.
🚼 - Does your character have or want kids?
Gaster created (for lack of a better word) Sans and Papyrus and raised them into adulthood before falling into the Void. They now live down the street from him and Asgore in his normal Canon verse.
In the Tender Love AU where Gaster is bonded and married to Rony ( @skelehomie ) along with his creation of Sans and Papyrus, he adopts Amos and later Henry through marriage and (Spoilers!) they have a biological child between them that Gaster carries. She doesn't have a name yet! We call her Bread Loaf!
💢 - what frustrates your character more than anything?
Seeing someone abused.
Gaster won't stand by idly if he knows something is going down that he can prevent or intervene in, or if at least he can support the person who's being beaten, either physically or mentally or both...
He's shown in the past (specifically in 'By Chance') that he can also be very self-sacrificial with cases like this too.
This is one of the only times you'll see Gaster angry.
