Merry ex-mas is so crazy like why did they DO all that. A whole ep about how Eddie is struggling to let his spouse in and to trust her around his son. In which said spouse suggests he take chris to see Santa, aka a family outing that spouses take their children to. And Eddie does but brings buck along instead of Shannon, his wife, and Eddie confides in buck in a way he avoided doing with Shannon the whole episode. And then instead of letting that insane subtext sit they fully make it text by having a Christmas elf come along and straight up call buck Eddie's spouse and the other father of his child???? And buck just goes 😊thank you😊 in response???
And the funniest thing is that buck doesn't even have his own plot. His only job in the whole ep is to help Chimney bring Maddie a Christmas tree and be Eddie's devoted husband/chris's caring stepfather. And guess which one he's more successful at.
