I took this picture almost a year ago today as a portfolio-submission / enterence exam for art school.

When I didn’t get in, I thought I was going to roll over and die. The truth is sometimes, things just aren’t right for you and I see now that The Virgencita guided me in a different direction. I’m in a good place and I’m happy and healthy and that’s enough for me.

I’ll sing her praises and trust her guidence for the rest of my days, because I know she has my back
