I have realised that I get very attached to people easily and don't detach easily

I have decided that I am going to put effort into loving this about myself, even if its scary because of what it led me into in my past. It is a part of who I am and how I work as a person. My tendency to devote myself is not a flaw, and it is not that devotion's fault that it was misused, ridiculed and/or discarded. I am allowed to have faith that I will not be hurt like that again. I have learned from my past and I have understood what taking advantage of my attachment and my emotions looks like. I love myself for how I feel
