P03 Doodles, featuring some Fliny.
Based off a true story during my inscryption playthrough. What made it worse was the fact it was a zombie card... which is a card you can buy straight from the trader and I didn't find out until around hundreds of foils later when I got it.
Oh yeah, also The Challenger has a new outfit.
Making some quick Refs for artfight and remembered I had color roughs for this girl and never elaborated.
Anyways Challenger got a slight update just in time for artfight! Her uh other forms will probably get tweaks later but I’m still happy with how they look currently
The Challengers
So, while the appearance of the Challenger’s figurines and sprites can be any combination of different body parts, there actually appear to be a total of eight distinct “sets” of parts that belong together, creating eight “default” looks.
In game, these don’t have specific names or anything like that - but in the internal files of the game, they are seemingly given the titles “Wildling”, “Prospector”, “Enchantress”, “Gravedigger”, “Robot”, “Settlerman”, “Settlerwoman”, and “Chief”, based on the file names of their unique Death Card features.

Some additional information on the Challenger’s appearance:
In Act I & III, the figurines of the Challenger have three variable body parts: head, arms, and body.
Also, the portraits of their Death Cards will match whatever head design they had - but it doesn’t seem like the eyes and mouth of the portraits are tied to the figurines’ appearances, too.
In Act II, the sprites of the Challenger only have two variable body parts: head and body. Their hands will now always match their head, rather than being a seperate piece.
And of course, the Challenger’s initial sprite in Act II will match the look of the figurine one completed Act I with, and the Challenger’s figurine in Act III will match the look of the sprite one completed Act II with.

Grimora: Oh dear...the challengers are looking like they are about to fight... Leshy: How unfortunate. But it will be entertaining to see how challengers combat other challengers. Magnificus: Knowing that challengers use hybrid decks, the results will be interesting-- Challenger 1: THE ONLY DECK YOU’RE GETTING IS ONE FROM MY FIST, BITCH! Challenger 2: BRING IT ON! I GOT JUST THE HAND FOR YOU TO CATCH, FUCKER! *Both challengers start to straight up brawl with their fists* The other Scrybes: *Staring in shock as they watch the two challengers beat one another senseless* P03: Now THIS is PRIME ENTERTAINMENT!!
I was kinda mad at Leshy and wanted to replace him in the act 2, cause, you know, he killed a few of my characters. And I'm so impressed with how a single little scene in the end of the game changed my mind
Next time it will be Magnificus, who I'll choose to replace
OK so in reference to P03s cranks, the one on the side of its head does a full turn every time he changes his display its hard to see since it's very quick but the clearest instance of this is when you get up to get the battery and he whines at you. The one on the body dunno, but yeah I assume if you messed with the one on the side of their head you'd mess up its face and get an ear bending.
I had to draw my dumbass Challenger messing with P03 lmao-
still dunno what the body one could be tho
