Part two…

Trying to give myself more mask space so I can wear it in the summer and still breathe AND wear it during winter without the eyes fogging up. Also bigger eyes and potentially a straw tongue and adjustable mandibles. All upcycled/recycled materials of course hehe

Insect Mask

I put some work into the mantis yesterday. I'm still not totally happy with the forehead plate, and I'm troubleshooting antenna base solutions today.

I'll have to figure out the eye situation soon. Do i leave them as is or do I figure out a way to sculpt resin blanks into them... alternatively, i could try to make my own silicone eye molds... ugh. I just don't know...

I also have to figure out mandibles. It almost seems like those should be done post-casting, so as not to obstruct the jaw movement....

I could have just done something straightforward, like a cat, but noooooo :P
