"Right, uh..." He pauses, thinking for a moment "I mean I guess I did what most guys do. Schoolwork, family stuff. Not much to tell." Again he shrugs, looking at her levelly, "I'm not always fighting for my life in a sick messed-up game, y'know."

Why was she asking all of this now? And why did it really matter? Neku wasn't sure, but it's not like he had anything to hide from Shiki. Or from anyone for that matter. Not much secrecy to be had in the life of Neku Sakuraba, that was for sure.

"I guess my mom and I did stuff a lot," It's not much of a clarification, but it's all he's going to give at the moment.
