Dear Customers with the Chip
I know it takes forever. If it feels like forever to you, please remember that I have probably checked out 100 other people today, and more than half of them had the chip. And of those, again more than half refused to wait to be prompted to insert their card. The screen will tell you. I will tell you. I actually tell you, "In a minute, the screen will prompt you when it's ready." That does not mean "insert/swipe card IMMEDIATELY and ignore all further instructions." I know it takes forever. The machine takes forever. But not paying attention to the process makes it take so much longer.
