What is in the Bag
The bag it self was a gift from Nicola. It has been something that I carry with me all over but mainly at work. The things inside of the bag mostly work but all of them are vital things that get me through the day.
Nicola and Waverly: This picture I carry with me everywhere after it was taken. This reminds me of everything that is important in my life. They are the reason behind everything thing I do, This picture is something that when I am in dark places this is what I whip out and look at it and then everything falls into place because they are my reasons for everything I do.
Pager: This is pretty self-explanatory but something all doctors carry or have carried. Being on call 24 hours a day means even being available when your not working. This is what allows the hospital to contact me even when I'm not there. When using my pager I am always available to come in to the hospital when I am needed.
Patient Files: Even when I am not at the hospital I have a handful of patient files, usually the most difficult ones to look over late at night after Nicola and Waverly have gone to bed. There is a great need to keep patient files so you can always have information at hand. Helping people is what I do and these files help me do this.
Phone (iPhone 11): My entire life both personal and professional is in this phone. I ain't dependent on this but it does make my life a lot easier. The hectic lifestyle I lead it does help a lot with everything that I have to handle and take care of.
Stethoscope: This is something that really shouldn't be in the bag but it is besides I never know when I will need it. I never have remembered to leave it at the hospital whenever I end a shift I just throw it in the bag and leave. There have been instances where I have used it outside of the hospital so having it with me in my bag is helpful.
