The compass journal cover I posted a few days ago inspired a customer to give one of my journals as a gift. They wanted the boat theme to continue through the book so I designed this ships wheel as an alternative to my usual title page designs. It works so well with the cover and little anchor bookmark. I love a good theme!!! What do you think, do you like everything have a theme or are you more of a mismatched kind of person? Any other themes you would love to see from me?

RANT... I'm losing my love for Etsy. Not only have my sales dropped tremendously so far this year (last 18 months) I feel that any sale I do have is swallowed by so many fees. I've always spoken highly of Etsy but I find myself competing on pages and pages of factory produced items marketing as hand painted 🤷‍♀️ these undercut all other sellers and are getting the prime placements in searches. I feel Etsy has lost what it was originally about. Yes I've done well on Etsy (over 10,000 sales since I started selling on there) and I won't be leaving just yet but I'm questioning my journey of how I continue this coming year. This list of costings are for Etsy alone and doesn't include my own expenses (ss, accountant, tax, etc). Most other handmade selling sites are UK only. Has anyone else got any good sites to sell on? I've been accepted to Amazon Handmade so maybe I should go and concentrate on there? Any advice?
