Another month has past. For me it was focused on observation, organization and relaxation. Here are few things and moments that were inspiring to me.
Portfolio
After the end of semester I've started updating my portfolio. Even though it took lots of time and I'm not fully finished, yet I was great opportunity to reflect on what I've created these past few months. Making a portfolio is like making another project that contains your best work.
Self organization
This month I focused on being organized, as it was Plastic Free July I've created lots of content in advance. This way I've created perfect schedule for my blog and other platforms and I hope to maintain this way of working for longer. Truth is that lots of times I've forgotten to post but fact that the content was already made it easier to catch up.
Plastic free challenge
Talking about Plastic Free July I'm really happy with my approach. I've made few lists of swaps to make and I plan on make changes gradually. By concentrating July's posts on plastic I've also gained new knowledge and some perspective.
Reading marathon
The idea of making a reading marathon was inspired by the vlog we have seen with my sister. After watching, it we decided to make our own reading marathon and I loved it. Not only do I enjoy reading but also it was so satisfying to spend whole afternoon by the book. Rules are simple: you dedicate all free time in 24 h period for reading. It was such great experience and I secretly plan on making it into monthly ritual.
Smell of freshly mown grass
In my inspirations from March I mentioned house in countryside. It's now in the moment of the biggest renovation, so I'm spending my vacations here watching the workers. I didn't want to repeat myself mentioning this house again (but it still is inspiring) so this time I will focus on the surroundings, specifically on the smell of freshly mown grass. Do you also love this smell? To me it's the smell of free time and relaxation.
Festival online
Lastly something that took place at the very end of July — Poland Rock Festival. Because going on the festival this year was not an option and the main theme of the event was “The most beautiful house party in the world”, we decided to have small garden party and enjoy music with few of my friends. It wasn't the same, but we had great vibes and my dogs were also invited which normally would be impossible.
