Lately I’ve been thinking about something Taliesin Jaffe said during his between the sheets episode:

Taliesin: “Life is long and strange, and I keep saying yes to things.”

Interviewer: “But you seem happy with those choices.”

Taliesin: “They’re choices. Choices are way better than not choosing. Not making choices just means that you’re at the whims of circumstance.”

And this in turn reminded me about something I read in a book when I was young. When you’re in a boat on a river, you need to go faster than the current around you if you wanna be able to steer it.

I’ve been so passive in my life, so afraid of making choices, that I’m just being swept along the current, crashing into rocks at the whims of circumstance. And I’m done with it, I want to start steering my own boat.

So I had the weirdest dream last night-

Basically Grian made a new video, and at the start he did a classic merch-advertising-announcement thing except it was for Scar and Impulse's merch (I'm pretty sure Impulse had a big hat and Scar had like. robo legs or something?), and then he went on to talk about the hard parts of being a content creator, and said that either Scott or Jimmy (I think it was Jimmy but Scott was just there too for some reason?) had been called a piece of trash hundreds of times online, and then mentioned/implied that a similar thing happened to himself. And then he thanked all the nice people for being supportive and started looking up fanart on Google with the search 'everybody having each others' bcak'.

Like it was really realistic and kind of wholesome at the end but... brain. why. why have you suddenly decided to deposit me dream wisdom in the form of mcyt.
