We are corrupting the Algorithm

As an Artist on Instagram who wishes to make a living off my art and home decor business, I feel my contributions to the app is corrupting the Algorithm. It’s becoming less about sharing and more about selling. For my posts to be seen, I have to pay for ads. This is making people desensitised to art. I don’t want to be part of that.

INCOMING RANT: I've just discovered that Instagram stories are also being affected by the algorithm and will only show up to those most likely to interact with your content and VIEW YOUR PROFILE. Instagram suggests tagging yourself in your content to get around this. ☁️ For a long time Instagram stories was the only thing keeping me active on here.
