This is a quick and tasty Instant Pot recipe for Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The shrimp are juicy, and the sauce is savory and slightly sweet. It goes great with fluffy white rice!
Ingredients: 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 1 cup chicken broth. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon brown sugar. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon ginger, grated. 1/2 cup water. 2 tablespoons cornstarch. 2 tablespoons cold water. 1 cup frozen peas. 2 green onions, sliced. Cooked white rice for serving.
Instructions: In the Instant Pot, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Add shrimp to the Instant Pot and mix well with the sauce. Close the Instant Pot lid, set the valve to sealing, and pressure cook on high for 1 minute. Quick release the pressure and open the lid. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the Instant Pot and stir. Press the saut function and cook until the sauce thickens. Stir in frozen peas and cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through. Serve the shrimp and sauce over cooked white rice. Garnish with sliced green onions.
