My roses are giving me what I believe is their last flush this year. Growing roses organically here in my still fairly new garden in Austin is a roller coaster ride and, to be honest with you, sometimes I am so frustrated that I just want to throw in the towel. Then I get a bloom like this of ‘Belinda Dream’ and it seems to be all worth it. All of my roses are growing on their own roots and they are not even two years in this garden, so they probably have just reached their toddler stages. I guess, I have to be patient and carry on.
