Feeling really great with this weeks efforts, decipline and focus! I haven't missed a beat this week, and have been pushing myself beyond my limits! #forgettingfriday Bearded Irises. 35mm Nikon 4R, Ecktachrome, E-6. Developed and mounted the slides at work. Shot this photograph immediately after the massive layoffs at EPNG. In the intervening weeks afterwards, I was able to also use the Nikon to capture detail shots of the Bassett Tower from inside the Blue Flame building. I also took my favorite images of The Judge in the little collaged hat I had made for her. The camera borrowed had been James’ new 35mm Nikon, the top-of-the-line. He had received it less than a month before the layoffs. Later, the Nikon and its lenses were transferred to the Houston office. After that, I assisted a purchasing manager who also had remained, and we inventoried all photographic and video equipment, and either transferred the newer to Houston or put the older equipment up for auction. There had been a Hasselblad I wanted to purchase, but because i was helping run the auction, I was unable to try and bid on any equipment.
