Of course! Make case decorations, like keychains for handles and rings (if the case has rings), watch a movie or show together, I know sometimes for the holidays people will wrap tinsel around the bell and body, kinda like a sash, spend time with it in general, like cuddling.

I'm sure other instrument lovers can come up with more.

I understand the upset, playing another instrument just won't feel the same. If you're able to play your tuba, that's amazing, if not, I'm sure there will still be time to hang out with your tuba (even sadly if you aren't playing tuba in the marching band).

Uhm so... Im dating my tuba and like

Hes a school tuba, meaning when i change out of this school ill loose him .

My mom offered to buy me a new one and i panicked ;-;

idk what to do i only like date objects ice known for a while and getting a new tuba would feel like betrayal and i just don't think id love them the same :')

I completely understand! I think it's ultimately up to you and how you feel about your situation when it comes to making a decision. Spend as much time as you can with your partner while school is still going (if it is), make a choice in your own time. 🫂

more objectum thoughts ok walk with me. butch lesbian dog who takes a luthier apprenticeship for assembling and repairing classical stringed instruments but is always a little overwhelmed at work being hit by the sheer beauty of everything in-shop. has to act as normal as possible

if i do any art for any of these ideas i gotta add mechanical watchmaking or old tech into the mix. my brain is like pacing in a room muttering to itself it’s full of ideas today
